Abstract
The method of estimating regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF), which involves inhalation of the gaseous radioisotope 133Xe, was introduced by Mallett and Veall, and later modified by Obrist, et al. The details of our laboratory arrangement at University Hospital have been previously reported. The method is reviewed below.
