Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationships between reading achievement and auditory selective attention and between reading achievement and cognitive style within a sample of specific learning disability (SLD) children. The sample was selected from SLD (reading) children who have attended the Educational Clinic or the Center for Developmental Learning Disorders at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
