Abstract
This dissertation consists of three papers concerning certain aspects of Euclidean lattices. The first two examine dynamical properties of 2D billiards in the lattices Z2 and Z2 ∪(1/2, 1/2) + Z2. The third explores arithmetic and geometric properties of Z3 by exploiting the algebraic structure of the quaternions and the Gaussian integers.
