LibLab Bookmark
Kat Graves
A bookmark with the LibLab logo on the top and LibLab written across the bottom.
I used the same logo as the LibLab Medallion, as well as the same collection process. I also used the Blaze Bookmark and cut out both Blaze and the word "libraries" in order to make this one. This project was made in TinkerCAD. The photo was printed on an Ultimaker S5 in green PLA. It took around 25 minutes with an infill of 20% and a layer height of 0.15mm.

LibLab Medallion
Kat Graves
This medallion has the LibLab logo in the center with Lib above it and Lab below it. In the file uploaded, there is a hole above the "I" so that you may put it on a necklace or hang it from the ceiling, though this hole is not present in the photo.
I made this project in TinkerCAD and AnyConv.com. I first found the logo as a .jpeg file on Google. Then i used AnyConv to convert that jpeg to a stl file, which I then uploaded into TinkerCAD finished the project there. I printed it on a FlashForge Finder in gold PLA. It took about an hour and a half to print at 10% infill and 0.1mm layer height.

Floor Outlet Safety Cover
Gavin Meighan, Dorothy Ogdon, and Nicholas Wossner
This is an object designed to press fit around a raised floor outlet in order to prevent any accidents involving tripping over or stubbing one's toe on the outlet.
This object was designed in Solidworks and exported as an .STL for the express purpose of being printed on an FDM 3D printer. It is recommended that this object be printed using a more robust material such as ABS or PETG due to the nature of it's use. The print can be done at a lower resolution to decrease print time as a higher resolution benefits the print in no way.
The UAB Libraries Emerging Technolgy and System Development department created 6 of these outlet safety covers and is using them in Sterne Library Virtual reality.
