Why Publish Open Access? A Panel Discussion
Description
Celebrate International Open Access Week 2022 with a panel discussion featuring UAB faculty who publish open access (OA). The panelists will discuss why they opted for OA over the traditional publishing route. The 2022 theme, Open for Climate Justice, brings attention to the role OA publishing can play in the fight to combat climate change. After the panelists respond to questions posed by the moderator there will be time for questions from the audience. This event is sponsored by the UAB Libraries Office of Scholarly Communication.
