About PMS
PoemMemoirStory publishes, celebrates, and amplifies the voices of writers identifying as cis women, trans women, non-binary, intersex, and other historically marginalized gender communities. The journal is a UAB publication staffed by faculty and students and funded by the English Department and the College of Arts and Sciences. This title was founded by Linda Frost in 2001, and was renamed Nelle for its 2018 issue edited by Lauren Slaughter.
